Who is your companion in life’s prosperity?

Who is your companion in life’s prosperity? Amawash (new moon) is the starting of the journey to the Poornima (full moon). I write this blog on the day of Diwali. Which is celebrated on the night of being awash.

Who is your companion in life's prosperity?

Diwali is the celebration of prosperity. On this day goddess, Lakshmi( goddess of wealth) is worshipped. The darkness of scarcity scares us and attracts the light of prosperity. To remove the darkness of life, it is necessary to have the light of beautiful feelings.

After a lot of thinking I stopped at the conclusion that the darkness of night represents all the miseries of life.

And that twinkling light from the little lamp. Give us assurance that, whatever darkness is much thicker, but the litter lamp (hope) is that much power that he keeps light all around.

Nature gives the signal that after darkness light will happen.

These are some approaches and mindsets. Who is your companion in life’s prosperity?

Your companion in life's prosperity.

1. Acceptance.

Turning away from ourselves, ignoring our truth, and not acknowledging our weakness, pushes us towards the shortcomings.

To end our miseries we first accept ourselves.  We can hear our truth, strength, and weakness. Learn from them and speak and discuss on it, live in peace with it, that is the greatest prosperity.

The pockets may be light, but there can be no greater happiness than that we can step forward with more confidence for ourselves every new morning.

2. Modesty and Discretion.

In the Vinaya Uttaradhyayana Sutra, modesty is said to be the root of religion.  Without modesty, there is no discretion and without discretion, whatever happens, it cannot be OK.

The thinker Confucius also considered modesty and humility as the greatest quality of a person. Modesty is the source of humility.

Putting down others, talking rudely to them, takes them away from us. Standing firm with the decency is the only way to open our paths to prosperity. It opens your mind and makes you a giver.

Humility treats everyone equally. It places harmony in our relationship. Our prosperity increases manifold when there is room for the smile of others, their love and companionship.

3. Spontaneity equanimity.

Equanimity is said to be the most beautiful emotion. But this beauty cannot come in life without spontaneity.

The stubbornness to control the things on which we are not stressed makes us uncomfortable. The reason behind stubbornness is our ego. Which influences us not to accept our weakness.

Our fear and greed make the challenges even bigger. There are some ups and downs in life that can be accepted only by making the journey ahead pleasant.

Controlling our anger brings peace in life. Spontaneity gives us that freedom. Where bitter memories do not keep us entangled and stuck for a long time.

A mind that is immersed in its happiness and sorrow is neither able to connect with others nor connect them with itself.

So make your equanimity spontaneity for better coordination of mind and heart. If they work in effective coordination nobody will stop you from prospering.

4. Lamp of knowledge.

The lamp of knowledge, It is necessary to dispel the darkness of ignorance. Light of knowledge dispels the darkness of life and enlightens the soul with knowledge.

Light will fulfil many dark and deserted corners. Many lamps start to light from one lamp.

Many new avenues of progress start opening.  A rich mind is full of curiosity. He does not turn his back on new knowledge.

Reading good books, talking to good people, making life easier for others with our knowledge, leads us to continuous prosperity.

5. Love and compassion.

Largehearted people with love and compassion are always ready to help others even when they are surrounded by problems themselves.

This process of helping one another, second to third, makes everyone prosperous. The help is not only about money, sometimes the biggest need is the time and support of others.

Real prosperity is that in which there is love and compassion for all, we can understand the pain of others, appreciate them, make them feel good and help others to fulfil their dreams.

Like seeing the face of the richest man in the world and seeing the face of a monk. No doubt a rich man is wealthy but not fully prosperous.

Because he is always stuck in this confusion about n how to earn and save money. His mind is full of greed, fear, stress and arrogance.

But a monk is free from them; he has no fear of losing his wealth, no greed to earn money, so they have no arrogance and are free from stress. He prospered outside and inside.

His heart is full of compassion and love and always eager to help others.

Lack of love prevents one from forgiving and also from asking for forgiveness. The light of love removes every lack of life.

It is said that in the light of love and compassion, the everlasting god exists.

6. Patience.

Where everyone is rushing to fulfil their desires immediately, there is always the possibility of colliding with each other.

Step by step our patience gets challenged.  The winner is the one who keeps on increasing, sometimes slowly and sometimes fast.

There is a big difference between accomplishing one’s goals and one who is not able to accomplish them.

Sometimes we give up when we are closest to the destination. With patience, it becomes easy to achieve even those things which at one time seemed difficult. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to devote enough time

Conclusion.

Your approach and mindset is the companion of your life’s prosperity. Your acceptance of yourself allows you to know yourself.

Your modesty leads to increasing your discretion. Which helps you make the right decision at the right time.

The lamp of knowledge dispels the darkness of life and enlightens the soul and mind.

Love and compassion fill your life with harmony and also others.

Patience gives you the courage to face the worst phase of life. And waited for the moment of yourself.

Best of luck.
